Are you tired of feeling restricted by tight muscles, limited range of motion, or nagging movement compensations that keep you from performing at your best? Whether you’re an athlete seeking that competitive edge or an active adult who refuses to let stiffness slow you down, Kinstretch at Omni Wellness & Performance in Fairfax, VA offers the movement solution you’ve been searching for.
Imagine moving with the fluid control and effortless mobility you had in your prime—or perhaps better than ever before. Picture waking up each morning feeling loose, strong, and ready to tackle any physical challenge that comes your way.
At Omni Wellness & Performance, we bring you Kinstretch—a scientifically-backed movement practice that doesn’t just stretch your muscles, but trains your nervous system to actively control and strengthen your entire range of motion.
Don’t let mobility limitations define your potential. Discover the difference that intelligent movement training can make in your performance, recovery, and quality of life.
Kinstretch changed the way I approach movement care. It’s not about stretching farther — it’s about teaching your body to actually own the range it has, and then expand from there.
At OMNI, our Kinstretch classes are small, intentional, and led by an FRC-certified instructor. Whether you’re coming to us straight out of PT, preparing for a season, or just tired of feeling stiff and restricted — this is the class designed for you.
If you want to see what Kinstretch can do for your mobility and pain, I’d love to have you come in for a session.
Kinstretch isn’t your typical stretching class. This is controlled articular rotations (CARs) and functional range conditioning (FRC) at its finest—a systematic approach to improving mobility that’s backed by cutting-edge movement science and used by professional athletes, physical therapists, and movement specialists worldwide.
Traditional stretching often creates passive flexibility that disappears the moment you stop stretching. Kinstretch trains your body to actively control and strengthen your range of motion, creating lasting mobility improvements that transfer directly to your daily activities and athletic performance.
Your brain controls your body’s willingness to move through range of motion. Kinstretch systematically trains your nervous system to recognize, control, and strengthen positions that were previously inaccessible, unlocking movement potential you didn’t know you had.
Poor mobility and movement compensations are leading causes of injury in active adults. Kinstretch identifies and addresses these limitations before they become problems, giving you the movement foundation needed for a lifetime of pain-free activity.
Whether you’re a weekend warrior or competitive athlete, Kinstretch develops the mobility, stability, and body awareness needed to excel in your sport. Think of it as strength training for your joints—just like progressive overload builds stronger muscles in the gym, Kinstretch applies the same scientific principles to systematically strengthen your range of motion. This isn’t passive stretching; it’s active range conditioning that trains your joints to be strong, stable, and controlled at their end ranges. The result? You move better, perform stronger, and maintain your competitive edge longer while reducing injury risk through bulletproof joint stability.
Regular Kinstretch practice nourishes your joints through their full range of motion, promoting joint health and helping you maintain the mobility needed for an active lifestyle as you age.
Developed from the latest research in neuroscience, joint physiology, and motor learning for evidence-based movement training. Traditional stretching often creates passive flexibility that disappears the moment you stop stretching. Kinstretch trains your body to actively control and strengthen your range of motion, creating lasting improvements.
Build strength at end ranges of motion — not just passive flexibility, but usable, controlled mobility you can apply in life and sport. Your brain controls your body’s willingness to move through range of motion. Kinstretch systematically trains your nervous system to recognize, control, and strengthen positions that were previously inaccessible.
Strengthen vulnerable positions and build resilient joints that can handle the demands of your sport and daily activities. Poor mobility and movement compensations are leading causes of injury in active adults. Kinstretch identifies and addresses these limitations before they become problems, giving you the movement foundation needed for a lifetime of pain-free activity.
Develop a deep understanding of your body’s capabilities and limitations through systematic self-assessment.

Kinstretch is a group mobility training system based on Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) — the same framework used in clinical and high-performance sports settings. Unlike yoga, which emphasizes passive flexibility, Kinstretch trains you to actively control your range of motion. This builds joint resilience, not just flexibility that disappears under load.
Kinstretch is effective for athletes, active adults, and anyone dealing with recurring tightness, restricted movement, or mobility-related pain. It’s not a fitness class — there’s no cardio component and you won’t leave breathless. The focus is controlled, precise movement at the end ranges where most injuries occur.
Classes are small-group sessions led by an FRC-certified instructor. You’ll move through a series of controlled joint circles and end-range holds targeting specific areas of the body. Expect to work hard in stillness — this is demanding in a different way than most movement classes.
Once or twice per week is a good starting cadence. Mobility training has cumulative effects — consistency over weeks and months produces meaningful changes in range of motion and joint health. Many athletes add Kinstretch to their existing training program without replacing anything.
Kinstretch can help reduce pain associated with restricted movement and poor joint mechanics. However, if you have an active injury or significant pain, it’s worth having a PT assess you first to confirm Kinstretch is the right fit at this stage of your recovery.
At OMNI, Kinstretch is taught by FRC-certified instructors in a clinical setting. If you’re also working with one of our PTs, your mobility training is coordinated with your rehab plan — not running in parallel without context. That integration is what separates clinical Kinstretch from a generic group class.
